Client Relations

The Client Relations team works closely with our new customers, current customers, and our outside sales team.  In this position, you will assist new customers schedule appointments to start services, assign sales leads to our outside sales team, and assist with customer loyalty and retention.  Leads are generated from Safeguard’s marketing team and word of mouth.  Candidates should be sales oriented, great on the phone, organized, positive attitude, and have superior interpersonal skills for communication directly with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with new and potential customers over the phone
  • Manage the technician’s schedule
  • Assist customers transition their accounts to new ownership and property managers
  • Work closely and build a relationship with current customers to continue to provide life safety services
  • Become an expert on the services we offer
  • Distribute commercial and residential sales leads to the outside sales team
  • Be able to retain customers who inquire about canceling their services

Required Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 years of phone sales or customer service experience
  • Possess strong customer service and sales background
  • Professional phone etiquette with an ability for overcoming customer objections
  • Team oriented
