Alarm Agent - Apprentice

Scottsdale, AZ

Safeguard is the largest privately owned, full service security company in the southwestern United States.  We are seeking applicants for our Secure Operations Center located in the Scottsdale Airpark.

Alarm Agents deal on a day-to-day basis with life safety issues, as well as property protection.

· Accuracy and commitment to quality with minimal supervision
· Ability to follow instructions and consistently act in a professional manner
· Able to use good judgment and utilize critical thinking skills
· Possess a strong desire to constantly improve and develop your skills

Requirements for Alarm Dispatch:
· Exhibit stable job history (looking for 1-3 year longevity)
· HS Diploma or equivalent
· Work effectively with others in a team based environment to accomplish company goals and to identify and resolve problems
· Ability to multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
· Experience identifying problems and offering alternative solutions and/or courses of action based on available resources
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work continuously at a computer and use a phone headset for extended periods of time
· Ensure that all alarm signals are worked to comply with established processes, policies and procedures and are documented sufficiently for future reference if needed in a court of law.

This position requires you to be part of a team in a 24/7 environment. Flexibility is a requirement. If you are not available to cover a shift on a weekend or a holiday, you need not apply.
