Safeguard Security & Communications, Inc. was formed in 1958 and has grown from its' beginnings as a residential guard service company and a home security company to a full service security and communications company providing a variety of services to homes, businesses and the construction industry. With a number of strategic business units, Safeguard and its' leadership have developed a comprehensive approach to servicing its' large customer base.

Safeguard's strategic business units have made Safeguard so much more than a home alarm systems provider. Safeguard is, in effect, a home security company, a commercial security systems and fire alarm services company, a school solutions company, a home automation company, and an electronic access control, security guard and patrol company.

As a home security company, Safeguard offers many services to its' residential customers, including home security systems and surveillance equipment in the form of security cameras, motion detectors, CCTV and video surveillance. Increased response to home alarms is available with security monitoring and emergency dispatch from our private, Scottsdale-based U.L. listed facility.

As a commercial security systems company, Safeguard offers design and installation services to commercial clients for security and communication systems ranging from access control, security cameras, motion detectors, CCTV and surveillance equipment, fire alarm and life safety systems, professional sound, audio/video and communication systems, and alarm system monitoring and emergency dispatch from Safeguard's private, Scottsdale-based U.L. listed facility.

As a school solutions company, Safeguard protects schools with systems including commercial security systems, security cameras and video surveillance, and Safeguard monitored fire alarm systems. Other facilities, such as hospitals, are equipped with Safeguard security and fire alarm systems, security cameras and Safeguard emergency call and patient monitoring systems, as well as an infant abduction alarm system.

As a home automation company, Safeguard integrates home security systems with fire alarm systems, security cameras, lighting, air conditioning, and heating systems. This enables homeowners to control more of their environment than just the home alarm.

In addition to the strategic business units, Safeguard is continually staying at the forefront of technology advances, ensuring that our customers can take full advantage of these advances (such as new and improved security cameras and security and fire alarm systems) without jeopardizing the integrity of their business or home alarm systems. Most recently, wireless alarms have become more prevalent in the industry. Safeguard provides wireless alarms (including fire alarms) for business and home alarm systems to our customers while continuing to use traditional phone lines as a backup.
